Privacy
ByteStranger collects as little as possible. This page explains exactly what that is.

Who is responsible
ByteStranger is run by Ramesh Gaire. For anything about your information, including deletion requests, email bytestranger@gmail.com.
When you browse the site
- No analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. The site does not use them.
- Hosting. The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical information such as your IP address and browser details in order to deliver and protect the site.
- Fonts and scripts are served from this site itself, not from third-party services.
- Video thumbnails. When the homepage shows recent YouTube videos, their thumbnail images load from YouTube's image servers, which receive your IP address and browser details when they do. Videos are linked, not embedded, so no YouTube player or cookies load here.
- Learning-path progress that you tick off is saved only in your own browser (local storage). It is never sent to ByteStranger. Clearing your browser data removes it.
The register-interest form
The form is not collecting anything at the moment. When it opens, this section will describe exactly what it collects, where it is stored and for how long, before any submission is accepted. Until then, registering interest happens by email, as described below.
Bots that fill in a hidden anti-spam field are discarded without being stored.
If you email
