Why ByteStranger exists
A lot of technology feels strange at first: a blocked sign-in, a service that won't start, a name that won't resolve. Documentation rarely shows the part where things go wrong.
ByteStranger is what I wanted when I was learning. Explain it in plain English, show it working, then break it on purpose so you learn to fix it.
Infrastructure labs are the core: networking, cloud, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, security, Linux and automation. Around them I share explainers, career advice, projects and lessons from real work.
Videos go out on YouTube, with short tips on TikTok, Instagram and Facebook. This site is the permanent home for the labs and learning paths.
How things are made here
Show it working
Concepts stick when you can see them. Every lab pairs an explanation with something you can watch, poke or run.
Label what is simulated
Simulations are clearly marked, and they never pretend to touch real systems. Real-world steps say what you need and where to run them safely.
Practical over hype
No "learn this in 10 minutes and get hired" promises. Just the skills, the reasoning and the practice.
Credit the sources
Official documentation is linked wherever it is the best explanation. ByteStranger adds context; it doesn’t replace the manual.
